Man sues Pizza Hut over bone in food

December 2, 2004

Tribune-Review: A Hempfield Township, Pa., man and his mother have sued Pizza Hut over a bone he encountered on his chicken-topped pizza two years ago.

Brian Morrison, 18, wants an amount in excess of $30,000 for the experience, which his lawyer says has ruined Morrison's appetite for pizza.

Morrison purchased the double chicken and cheese pizza on Dec. 10, 2002, according to the suit.

After returning home with some leftovers, Morrison heated a piece of pizza and ate it. Greensburg attorney John Scales said Morrison cut the back of his throat on a chicken bone and had to seek treatment at the hospital.
