Manny & Olga's Pizza serves up pizza to homeless this Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, Washington D.C.-based Manny & Olga's Pizza is donating more than 60 fresh made pizzas to a local homeless shelter, according to a press release.

"We're incredibly thankful for the support we receive from our community," Bobby Athanasakis, owner of Manny & Olga's Pizza, said in the press release. "This is our way of giving back. Everyone deserves the comfort of a hot meal, especially during Thanksgiving."

This is the first year for the pizza drive. Manny & Olga's will be closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow team members to spend the holidays with their families.
