March Madness has Domino's seeing double

Domino's Pizza is celebrating March Madness with a BOGO offer for carryout customers thru March 18, a promotion that is clearly intended to drive traffic to its digital interfaces. 

"The first week of tournament games has officially begun, and we wanted to give basketball fans a special deal as they're gathering around the TV," Domino's spokeswoman Jenny Fouracre said in a news release about the offer. "Fans can take advantage of two carryout pizzas for the price of one when they order on any of Domino's digital ordering channels."

Domino's sold a total of more than 2 million pizzas during the 2017 semifinals and championship game. That would be enough to dole out 27 pizzas to each person at the final in San Antonio this year, the company said.

Carryout customers may take advantage of the BOGO deal by ordering online at or via Amazon Alexa, Slack, Facebook Messenger, voice-ordering with Dom or any of the brand's apps. The free pizza must be of equal or lesser value than the purchased pizza.
