Marco's Pizza books 11th consecutive quarter of positive comps

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Marco's Pizza has achieved its 11th consecutive quarter of positive same-store sales growth, the company has announced. System-wide same-store sales for Q1 2009 were up 0.14 percent over the same period in 2008.
Marco's Pizza plans to open more than 40 new locations total by the end of the year. The pizza company currently operates more than 185 stores in 17 states and has more than 700 new stores contracted.
