Marco's Pizza has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement to bring six stores to Lubbock, Texas, by the end of 2023.

The units are owned by Mike Rogers and Justin Tarrant, who are area representatives responsible for franchise development in the Dallas-Fort Worth communities which boasts 47 stores with an additional eight locations in development, according to a press release.

In addition, Rogers is also an area representative for the 22-store Oklahoma City market.

Two Marco's locations are slated to open in Q3 and another is due to open in Q4, with the remaining three stores open by the end of 2023.

"We knew timing was right to further grow our Marco's portfolio — we both have a natural growth mentality and this, paired with the performance we've been seeing with our existing stores and the whitespace potential to scale in Lubbock, made our investment decision an easy one," Rogers said in the press release.

"Over the years, we've learned to take advantage of growth potential and build while you can. Not only are we seeing strong performance in our stores, but as a brand, Marco's is experiencing record-breaking growth. If you were ever looking to invest and grow with this brand, now is that time," Tarrant said in the release.

Marco's operates more than 1,000 stores in 33 states, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
