Marco's Pizza plans Miami expansion

March 11, 2014

Marco's Pizza has developed an expansion plan in the Miami area, with Aneesh Patel, area developer for the brand in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale.

According to a news release, Patel currently co-owns six Marco's Pizza restaurants with his father and brother in Tampa and Broward County, Fla., and hopes to add as many as 30 new stores in the Miami market.

Patel is currently seeking franchisees interested in opening Marco's stores in Aventura, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Coral Springs, Doral, Ft. Lauderdale, Kendall, Homestead, Hollywood, Hialeah, Miami Beach, downtown Miami, Lauderhill, Miami Gardens, Miramar, Pompano Beach and South Beach.

"We haven't even been in the market for four years yet, and we're already breaking ground on our seventh store," Patel said in the release. "This is a chain to grow with, a very successful chain, and investors have a great opportunity here. One of the things that makes our operations so superior is our consistency. Marco's makes sure there's consistency across the board, and that makes a big difference with customers. It translates into success with franchisees."
