Marco's Pizza has named Keith Sizemore as vice president of development.
Sizemore previously served as vice president of new territory development. Sizemore and his wife, Rocio, own three Marco's locations with a fourth in development, according to a press release.
"It's an honor to be promoted to this position and focus on the development of the brand," Sizemore said in the release "Being a franchisee, I've witnessed our development processes first-hand so I am able to see the gaps and create efficiencies that will help us grow faster with a focus on providing an excellent experience for our franchisees. Our goal is to become the fourth largest pizza brand in the country and I have full confidence we'll get there. We have an incredible leadership team and I'm looking forward to playing a role in growing the Marco's brand to new heights."
Marco's has signed more than 100 franchise agreements year-to-date, with more than 200 stores in various stages of development. The company is on track to grow its 1,000-plus store footprint by more than 10% this year.
"Keith has the right vision needed for this role and I anticipate his guidance and leadership will bring us continued growth and development success for years to come," Steve Seyferth senior vice president and chief experience officer, who oversees development, said in the release.
The company is based in Toledo, Ohio, and was founded in 1978.
