Marco's Pizza to open in Gainsville, Florida

Marco's Pizza will open its first Gainsville, Florida store, on May 2 according to a report in The Gainsville Sun.

The franchise is owned by Gainesville resident Parth Chaudhari, who plans to open more in the area.

"I tried the product in Jacksonville one day and I fell in love with it," Chaudhari told the news outlet. "I was like, you know what, we need this in Gainesville."

The location will bring 20 jobs to the local area — 10 crew members and 10 drivers.

Marco's Pizza is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. The brand has more than 1,000 locations in 34 states and territories.
