Marco's Pizza has signed 88 franchise agreements since the start of the year, as well as development deals to bring 20 units to Colorado, a news release said
The company said its existing 1,000-plus units have been recording strong sales and that it has more than 200 units in development, with a special focus on areas like the booming Austin, San Antonio and Dallas in Texas, as well as Miami and Orlando in Florida and Southern California.
"Our teams have been busy working to lower unit buildout costs while simultaneously driving higher sales," Tony Libardi, co-CEO and president of Marco's Pizza, said in the release. "This, paired with ease of funding, has created an opportune time for both existing and prospective franchisees to grow with Marco's."
The company said that, on average, it opens a store every three and half days. It also reported that the top half of its franchised stores generated $1,059,574 AUV for 2020.
