For the fifth consecutive year Marco's Pizza made Entrepreneur magazine's Franchise 500, an annual guide to top franchise opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Marco's shot up 10 places from a year ago, breaking the 100 mark at No. 95. It is the company's highest ranking achieved on the Franchise 500.
Marco's Pizza opened its 500th store in June 2014, launching more than 600 locations by the end of the year. The company's target is to franchise 1,000 stores across the U.S. by the end of 2016. Plans also are under way to expand in India, Saudi Arabia, Asia and Africa.
Marco's is exceeding growth projections by 40 percent.
