Marco’s Pizza announced the company received the No. 95 spot on Entrepreneur magazine’s annual Franchise 500 list, a ranking of franchises across the country.
This is Marco' sixth year to make the list and the first time the company made the top 100. The 36th annual Franchise 500 recognized Marco's for financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of franchise system.
Marco's opens an average of one store every other day, the company said, and doubled its size in five years. The company intends to have more than 700 restaurants in three countries and is set to reach 1,000 locations by 2017.
