Mazzio's creates SPAM-based pizza for fair attendees

Oklahoma pizza brand Mazzio's has created a specialty pizza specifically for attendees of the Tulsa State Fair, according to a press release.

The Spam-a-Lulu Pizza is $8 at Mazzio's Mobile Pizza Kitchen. It features hand-tossed crust, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, pineapple and original SPAM, followed by a decadent drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. Traditional offerings will be available as well.

"The Tulsa State Fair is an opportunity for us to have some fun exploring unique flavors," Stuart Myers, VP of marketing and sales, said in the release. "Most people are unaware of the popularity of SPAM across the Hawaiian Islands so we made it part of our Hawaiian Spam-a-lulu pizza."
