Mellow Mushroom continues North Carolina expansion

Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers will open in Cary, N.C. Sept. 26. This newest unit comes shortly after the Fayetteville, N.C., unit turned in the second largest opening in the chain's history.

Cary's owners are Robert, William and Kristen Greczyn.

"We're excited to contribute to the community's growth by offering a fresh update to the palette of Cary. The customers need their pizza and beer close at hand, and we are excited to bring them that," William Greczyn said.

The new restaurant includes patio seating, a spacious main dining room, a distinct bar area and a private lounge, dubbed the Red Room.

This Mellow will feature an exclusive Beer Club with select and member only rewards, a weekly trivia night and live music. It will operate seven days a week; open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
