Mellow Mushroom debuts in Memphis

Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers will debut in Memphis, Tenn., Sept. 30, at 5138 Park Ave. The new restaurant is owned by Cary and Lori Fairless and Andy Harvey.

"Mellow Mushroom and Memphis provide a great combination of the perfect location and an exciting atmosphere," Cary Fairless said.

As each Mellow Mushroom location is uniquely decorated, the Memphis restaurant features sci-fi and space travel themes. The atrium glows with color changing meteor showers as a backdrop to a 20-foot rocket entering the earth's atmosphere at the reigns of Mel, the brand's Mushroom mascot, who straddling the metal clad form.

The newest location also includes live music and trivia on select evenings and a full-service bar with rotating craft beer options.
