Mellow Mushroom plants flag in Columbus suburb

Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is now open in the Columbus, Ohio, suburb of New Albany, at 260 Market St. Suite A. The new restaurant is owned by Colby and Jon Zachrich.

"We have always wanted a location in the New Albany area and this spot met our interests when we were approached with the opportunity," the Zacharichs said in a joint statement.

The design of the New Albany restaurant features old-fashioned signage and reclaimed wood, stained glass transoms and Lewis Carroll’s White Rabbit. The dining area features a community-style table built from reclaimed wood and antique doors and pays tribute to the band The Doors. A large tree sprawls in the middle of the dining room.

The full-service bar features craft beers, a wine list and handcrafted cocktails.
