Middleby Corp acquires oil filtration company

The Middleby Corp. has acquired Filtration Automation Inc., a provider of oil management systems, for an undisclosed sum, according to press release.

Based in Mansfield, Texas, the company's technologies are used for poultry, fish and snacks applications.

"The Micron-Pro patented, continuous filtration technology gives operators labor savings, improved fryer performance and significant opportunities for cost savings," Tim FitzGerald, Middleby CEO, said in the release.

Filtration Automation has annual revenues of approximately $10 million.
