Miracle Pizza Co. to open in Birmingham suburb this spring

Miracle Pizza Co. will open in the Avondale Business District of Birmingham, Alabama, according to a Bham Now report.

The pizzeria will opem in the former Post Office Pies location.

Miracle Pizza Co. is expected to open mid-April and is under the helm of Houston Chef and restaurateur Ben McPherson and Avondale Brewing Co.

"They called me and told me, 'Hey, I need you to drop what you're doing, jump in the car and come look at this space in Avondale.' I cleared my schedule and drove 12 hours from Houston to Birmingham to see the space — and it was perfect!" McPherson told the news outlet.

McPherson learned the pizza trade from World Pizza Champion Massimiliano Saieva. He'll sell Roman style pizzas at Miracle Pizza Co.
