Miss. Pizza Hut health dept. report inconclusive
April 5, 2009
The Greenwood (Miss.) Commonwealth: A state Department of Health laboratory analysis of a January incident at a Pizza Hut in Greenwood, Miss., yielded little information as to why 19 people became sick after dining there.
While the analysis did find that raw chicken at the restaurant was stored at improper temperatures, it also stated that the bacteria "that produce toxins that can sometimes cause gastrointestinal illness with a short incubation period are not typically bacteria found in raw chicken."
