Mister O1's expands to Boca Raton, Florida

A viral pizzeria named "Best Pizza" in Florida has opened in Boca Raton. Mister O1's has opened under the helm of franchisee Alfredo Keri, according to a report in The Palm Beach Post.

Originally started by Chef Renato Viola in Miami Beach in 2014, the pizza franchise has since expanded to three more Miami-Dade units and in several other Florida cities.

"I was a huge fan. I lived in Broward and used to drive all the way to Miami to have that pizza," Keri, a marketing executive and business developer who hails from Venezuela, told the news outlet. "I know people in Boca Raton who would drive two times a week to eat at Mister O1."

Clean ingredients for the star-shaped pizzas have made it a viral sensation.

"We add no sugar to the dough or to the sauce. The ingredients are locally sourced or imported from Italy," Keri told the news outlet. "The secret is the dough. The dough is prepared and rests for a minimum of 72 hours, and it's super rich in flavor and super crispy."
