MOD Pizza continues expansion in Oregon

October 30, 2014

MOD Pizza will open four additional locations in the Portland, Oregon, market. The first will open on Nov. 20 in Parkway Village at 21370 SW Langer Farms Parkway, Sherwood.

A grand opening will be held that day, beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:45 a.m. Doors open at noon and the first 52 guests will each receive a free pizza or salad, as well as the chance to win free pizza for a year. Additional giveaways and tastings will continue throughout the day.

Also, as part of MOD’s "Spread MODness" initiative, 100 percent of all pizza sales from opening day will be donated to a local charity.

The other MOD’s coming soon include:

  • Downtown Portland, 2nd & Yamhill – Opening February 2015
  • Portland International Airport – Opening April 2015
  • Lake Oswego – Opening Spring 2015

"Each of these locations represents an important milestone for MOD, as we will now be serving downtown, the airport and two more great suburbs of Portland," CEO Scott Svenson said in a news release. "We are excited to continue to grow our presence in this market and we look forward to sharing our special MOD culture and great pizza with more people in and around Portland."

MOD currently operates stores in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Colorado and Texas, with more than 30 stores slated to be open across seven markets by the end of 2014.
