Mod Pizza names former Johnny Rockets, Friendly's CEO to COO post

Mod Super Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC has named former Johnny Rockets and FIC Restaurants (Friendly's) President and CEO John Maguire to the COO's role as of Oct. 22, a news release said. 

He will lead the company's store operations across more than 380 locations, with a strong focus on all phases of expansion and growth. Maguire will report to outgoing president and COO Twohig, who will continue to lead store development, culinary, supply chain, and international and franchise operations. 

In his former CEO roles at Johnny Rockets and Friendly's, Maguire led global operations, franchising and store development for a combined 625 locations with total annual sales exceeding $800M. Prior to his time those two chains, he spent 20 years at Panera Bread, in numerous retail operations roles including executive vice president and COO.
