MOD Pizza tests wings in 2 cities

MOD Pizza has added oven-baked wings to its menu at 28 locations in Dallas, Texas, and Salt Lake City, Utah. The wings are hand-tossed in sauces and oven-baked, offering customers more than 35 flavor combinations, according to a press release.

The wings are served in six- or 12-piece orders in five signature recipes and with seven dipping sauces. Flavors include: BBQ Hot Honey; Buffalo; Sri-Rancha; Parmesan Garlic Rosemary and Original.

Sauces include: Ranch; Hot Buffalo; BBQ Sauce; Balsamic Fig Glaze; Red Sauce; Pesto and Sri-Rancha.

"Quality, customization and variety are key reasons our customers are drawn to MOD, and our new wings give them even more to love," Mark Shambura, chief marketing officer at MOD Pizza, said in the release. "Wings have been in our culinary pipeline for a while, and we were committed to working through our testing process to bring our customers the high-quality, craveable and customizable product they've come to expect. We'll continue to lean into menu innovation in 2023, and have a number of exciting products to test and debut throughout the year."

To celebrate the launch, MOD Rewards members receive 50% off an order of wings when they purchase a MOD-size pizza or salad. The offer is good from Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

Free delivery is available online or via the MOD app on Feb. 11 and 12.
