Monical's Pizza's Bond wins NRAEF award of distinction

CHICAGO — The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation has recognized Harry Bond, president of 55-unit Monical's Pizza (read also, Who's Who: Harry Bond), with an NRAEF Award of Distinction.

According to a news release, Dr. Ray Kavanaugh, professor and head, Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Purdue University, and an NRAEF trustee, presented the award in December. This award recognizes Bond's highly successful and creative workforce initiatives as well as his steadfast support of the NRAEF.

In addition to receiving the NRAEF Award of Distinction, Bradley, Ill.-based Monical's Pizza won a 2004 Winning Workforce Award for its focus on enhancing employee satisfaction.
