Moore made COO at Domino's Pizza U.K. & IRL

LONDON — Domino's Pizza U.K. & IRL has promoted sales and marketing director Chris Moore to the newly created position of chief operating officer.

According to a news release, Moore began at Domino's in 1990, when he set up the company's European marketing department. In 1998, he was appointed to the board and became an executive director in the following year.

His new role will include responsibility for Domino's business training and operations, human resources and strategic development of e-commerce platforms.

"Chris has been a key driving force behind the success of the Domino's brand through his inspired leadership of our marketing team," said chief executive Stephen Hemsley. "(C)reating the role of chief operating officer will give us an even stronger focus on our operations and people."
