Mountain Mike's expands Houston-area presence with opening

Mountain Mike's has opened a location in Fulshear, Texas, under the helm of franchisees Ajay Gorde and Karina Rodriguez. The husband-and-wife duo plan to expand the Mountain Mike's brand with two additional locations in The Woodlands and Tomball, Texas, according to a press release.

"Mountain Mike's Pizza is committed to delivering exceptional experiences and quality food, and we're confident that whether guests choose to dine-in, carryout or order delivery, the brand will quickly become a beloved part of the Fulshear community," Gorde said in the press release. "As parents, we understand the importance of having a safe and welcoming space where kids can enjoy great food and create lasting memories with their friends, sports teams and more, and we're proud to offer that to Fulshear families."

The 2,900-square-foot restaurant features an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad bar weekday lunch buffet, a kids' arcade, free WiFi and a patio.

Mountain Mike's has 300 locations. The chain is based out of California.
