Mountain Mike's Pizza really likes Oakland, California, as proven by the fact that the brand opened its fifth store there recently nearly the Oakland Coliseum and Oracle Arena, a news release said.
The store's dining room remains closed due to shelter-in-place orders there, but the brand is still offering its pies, wings, garlic sticks, beers and wines for contactless delivery and carryout.
"Although we're not able to open our dining rooms just yet, we are proud to begin serving Mountain Mike's signature pizzas to the Oakland community in the safest way possible," Bhimsen Khadka, one of three franchise partners of the new Mountain Mike's Pizza location in Oakland, said in the release. "We're thrilled to make Mountain Mike's legendary pizza even easier to access and enjoy with the addition of a new Oakland location and are looking forward to the day we can welcome guests into our restaurant to experience our unique dine-in environment."
The 2,200-square-foot restaurant features all the big-screen TVs the brand is known for, as well as Mountain Mike's newest design configuration. The Hegenberger Road store is among 200 systemwide locations across California, Oregon and Utah. The company is based in Newport Beach, California.
