Mountain Mike's Pizza, a 45-year-old pizza chain known for its large pizzas and curly pepperoni, announced its expansion into Wisconsin, its 10th state. The brand signed franchise agreements to open three restaurants each in the Milwaukee and Green Bay areas. The first location is expected to open in Green Bay by year-end, according to a press release.
Franchisees Jasmeet and Ranbir Shergill will operate the new restaurants.
"Mountain Mike's is an attractive opportunity for experienced franchisees," Jim Metevier, CEO, said in the press release. The company cited the growing pizza market and its own sales success as reasons for expansion.
