The Times Herald: FORT GRATIOT, Mich. — A group of about 10 local teenagers is mounting an e-mail campaign to get Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza to lower its age requirements for entry into its pizzeria and games parlors.
On Aug. 20, 17-year-old JR Brown and a friend were unable to enter a Chuck E. Cheese's here because they were not 18 and not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Chuck E. Cheese's policy mandates no one younger than 18 be admitted without a parent or guardian. A company spokesperson said the rule is to protect young children who come to their facilities, not to bar teens.
