Everything's "bigger in Texas," including Mr. Gatti's Pizza, which continues expansion in its home state with the late summer opening of a Tyler, Texas, on South Broadway, a news release said
In addition to the traditional Mr. Gatti's pizza buffet and other menu items, the new restaurant will feature a family entertainment center with more than 50 games, as well as private event and birthday party rooms.
"I'm excited to bring Mr. Gatti's to Tyler as I grew up going to Mr. Gatti's in my hometown and now I want a safe, fun place for my own children to hang out," said Franchisee Lamar Wedell, in the release. "We will also use the restaurant to help the local community with plans to work with foster children and children with autism in the area, along with other charities and organizations here in Tyler."
Mr. Gatti's has been growing in recent years with a record number of corporate store openings, as well as the first franchise location in seven years in Killeen, Texas, this March. Tyler will be Mr. Gatti's second opening of the year, and part of an aggressive growth plan that aims to open 100 new locations by 2022.
