Mr Gatti's Pizza launches Hot Honey Trio for limited time

Travis Smith, executive vice president of Mr Gatti's Pizza, said in a company press release that the brand wanted to capitalize on a growing culinary trend.

"Hot honey has become one of the most exciting flavor trends in food right now, and we wanted to bring that sweet heat to some of our most popular menu items," Smith said in the press release. "The Hot Honey Trio gives guests three different ways to enjoy that bold flavor combination, whether they are craving pizza, wings or something perfect for sharing. It is a fun new twist we think our guests will really love."

The pizza and pepperoni sticks both feature pepperoni and provolone cheese drizzled with the chili-infused honey, while the wings are glazed in the sauce. Both the sticks and wings are served with the chain's signature ranch dressing.

The limited-time items are available for dine-in, carryout and delivery while supplies last.

Based in Fort Worth, Mr Gatti's Pizza currently has more than 230 locations open or under development across Texas and the Southeastern United States.
