The schedule for the grand openings began in Hickory Creek, Texas, on April 9, followed by Kilgore, Texas, on April 10. The Oklahoma locations in Norman and Muskogee held celebrations on April 16 and April 17, respectively. Each event featured menu samplings and interactive games.

According to the company, these improvements are part of a broader effort to enhance its presence in key markets and set a new standard for dining inside Walmart stores.

Mr Gatti's Pizza currently has more than 230 locations open or in development across Texas and the Southeastern United States. The brand recently opened in Portland, Texas.
