New Pizza Inn director of training and HR to focus on guests

THE COLONY, Texas —
Pizza Inn announced the appointment of Susan Gray as its new director of training and human resources. According to a news release, her appointment signals a new approach to building operational consistency throughout Pizza Inn's corporate and franchised operations.
Previously a senior manager with Yum! Brands, Gray brings 18 years of operations and training experience to her new position. Gray logged 16 years at Pizza Hut in a variety of positions, including her role as senior manager of training development.
"Susan's past experience uniquely qualifies her for this position," said Tim Taft, president and chief executive at the 363-unit chain. "She brings a tremendous amount of operational and training expertise to our company at a time when consistency and guest satisfaction are the centerpieces of our turnaround strategy."
In her new position at Pizza Inn, Gray will lead Pizza Inn's training department by developing and implementing training programs to build operational and brand consistency. She also will oversee human resources at Pizza Inn corporate.
