New Zealand Pizza Hut sales fall
May 28, 2008
Stuff.co.nz: New Zealand Pizza Hut operator Restaurant Brands said the chain recorded a "disappointing" 13 percent fall in total sales and same-store sales for the quarter were 7.1 percent lower.
Despite the decline, Restaurant Brands chief executive Russel Creedy said the tough economic environment was beginning to reveal a silver lining for Pizza Hut because some of their competitors were closing.
