New Jersey-based 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza will soon launch the first of 20 franchised locations to open in the state over the next 18 months, the company said in a press release. Located at the Shops at Arbor Walk, A Simon Property, 1000 Degrees expects to open by September 2015.
"1000 Degrees is extremely excited to enter the Austin, Texas market and bring the residents of this beautiful city the finest authentic, hand-tossed Neapolitan Pizza they have ever tasted, fantastic salads and a wide variety of beer and wine available on tap. Walk down the assembly line, choose from over 50 toppings to build your perfect pizza, and by the time you pay and get a beverage, the pizzas are finished. The pizza will be light, crispy, and have one of the most flavorful crusts you will have ever eaten, made from real Tipo 00 Flour," said President & CEO Brian Petruzzi, 1000 Degrees, in a statement. "With a true two-minute cook time, thousands of possible combinations of the finest cheeses and meats, as well as the freshest veggies available, 1000 Degrees is becoming an every-day pizza spot, serving just about 50 percent of patrons at lunch and 50 percent at dinner."
