Noble Roman's swings to loss
March 19, 2009
INDIANAPOLIS -- Revenues at pizza franchisor Noble Roman's Inc. were $9 million for 2008, the company announced, off 22 percent compared with revenues of $11.6 million the previous year.
The company recorded a net loss for the year of $2.4 million compared with net income of $2.5 million for 2007.
The company is currently focusing all of its sales efforts on selling franchises for non-traditional locations.
"Given current severe economic recession and the frozen credit markets making third party financing for traditional franchisees difficult to obtain, the company believes its non-traditional franchises offer the best opportunity for most potential growth at the current time," Noble Roman's officials said in a news release.
