March 16, 2005

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Nine-hundred-unit Sbarro announced the resignation of president and chief executive officer Michael P. O'Donnell, who is taking the same posts at Champps Entertainment, Inc. O'Donnell will remain on the pizza and pasta chain's board of directors.

According to a regulatory filing, Pete Beaudrault, Sbarro's corporate vice president and president of its quick-service division, will succeed O'Donnell as president and CEO effective immediately.

"Michael has built an outstanding management team to lead our company," said Sbarro chairman Mario Sbarro. "We look forward to his continuing guidance as a member of our board."

Beaudrault, who joined Sbarro last year, is the former president and CEO of Hard Rock Cafe International.
