Ohio couple plans to franchise take-and-bake operation

Columbus (Ohio) Business First: The owners of Columbus, Ohio, market pioneer Mama Mimi's Take 'n Bake Pizza have come to realize franchising their take-and-bake business is necessary for continued growth.

"We've grown via word of mouth and just the pure fact that we're willing to put every penny back into our business," said Jodi Aufdencamp, who, along with her husband, currently owns four shops. "A couple of years ago, we said we'd never franchise; we want to keep control. (Now), we are going crazy running from store to store."
