Old Chicago Pizza debuts in Dallas

December 9, 2014

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom has opened its first location in Dallas at 5319 Mockingbird Station, Suite 100. To celebrate, the location has partnered with local charity, CitySquare, and will donate $1 from every Chicago 7 and Meat Me specialty pizza order after 3 p.m. through Jan. 4 to the organization.

According to a news release, CitySquare fights hunger and poverty.

"CitySquare has a long history of serving the city of Dallas and we're proud to partner with them to raise funds to help fight the root causes of poverty through service, advocacy, and friendship," Old Chicago President Mike Mrlik said in the release. "We can't think of a better way to celebrate our opening than to invest in the well-being of our newfound community."

The new restaurant will feature a variety of Texas craft beers from breweries such as Deep Ellum Brewing Company and Rahr & Sons Brewing Company. Also, among the variety of 14 specialty pizzas that guests may choose from, these two will benefit CitySquare:

  • Chicago 7: Pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions, black olives, green peppers, sliced mushrooms and signature house pizza sauce.
  • Meat Me: With four premium meat toppings and garnished with green olives and fresh basil.

The 5,930-square-foot restaurant, including patio dining, also features 16 HD televisions.
