Pizza moved from Cambodia to Nashville to Texas this past week, with the majority of locations populating the South.

Domino's Pizza announced its entry into two new markets, Azerbaijan and Cambodia.

Domino’s Azerbaijan is owned by private equity firm Fides, which holds master franchise rights to Azerbaijan locations as well as two other locations. Domino’s Cambodia is owned by D. Pizza PLC, a joint venture between CBM Corporation Co. Ltd and Evolution Capital of Thailand. The newest store opened by the group is located in Cambodia capitol Phnom Penh.

Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint opened its first Charleston, South Carolina-area restaurant in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The fast-casual build-your-own pizza restaurant is located at 1795 North Highway 17 in the Town Center Plaza, according to a company announcement.

David Moulton and his father Bruce own and operate the newest location and have signed on to develop three Uncle Maddio's locations, all in the Charleston area. A second unit will be opening in late summer in North Charleston, the company said.

Pizza Patrón announced the opening of its new Lewisville, Texas restaurant located at 383 Huffines Blvd, Lewisville, Texas. The store was opened by Pizza Patrón franchisees Tejas Norte LLC, the company said.

Blaze Pizza announced the opening its first Nashville location in Brentwood. The restaurant will be located at 7011 Executive Center Drive in the shopping area off of Franklin Road.

The company built the location in 2500-square-foot space with an industrial feel atmosphere of bold orange and red accents, including the centerpiece of the restaurant, an open-flame oven. The restaurant offers seating for 70, with additional seats on an outdoor patio, the company said.

Louisville, Kentucky-based Millennial Restaurant Group (MRG), which is franchising the concept in four states including Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky, will manage the Nashville location. The partnership consists of James Patterson Sr., Jim Patterson II, Ulysses (Junior) Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton and Collins Cogan.
