Ontario pizza chain makes move into western Canada

The Star Phoenix (Saskatoon): Ontario-based pizza chain Pizza Pizza, has purchased Edmonton-based Pizza 73. Pizza Pizza operates 532 restaurant locations in Ontario and Quebec, while Pizza 73 has 48 locations mostly located in Alberta

Pizza Pizza executives say there are no plans to rebrand the Pizza 73 franchises.
