Oracle Food and Beverage teams with Omnivore for POS solutions

Oracle Food and Beverage, a provider of hardware and software solutions for foodservice operators, has partnered with Omnivore, a point-of-of sale connection for foodservice app development and a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, to encourage foodservice operators to develop differentiated customer experiences and further streamline operations, according to a press release.

With this Omnivore connection, foodservice operators can take advantage of an ecosystem of third-party solutions through a single point of integration into the Oracle Food and Beverage Simphony foodservice management platform.    

Omnivore connects restaurant points of sale to more than 150 foodservice technologies, aligning brands with consumer, staff and support center needs in order to grow transactions while minimizing expenses. 

The two companies plan to enable operators to create a technology footprint that will allow foodservice operators to establish a competitive differentiation that reflects their guest experience. By creating a single source of integration into Oracle Food and Beverage foodservice management software and POS hardware, operators can leverage Omnivore to further streamline operations and quickly deploy new technologies, the release said.
