Pantry Pizza releases no-crust Pizza Bowls

Pantry Pizza, located in Dorchester, Massachusetts, has launched no-crust Pizza Bowls, according to a press release.

The bowls are priced at $9.44 and come in varieties including the Welly with grilled chicken, broccoli and roasted garlic, the Bonus Buffalo with buffalo chicken, bleu cheese and mozzarella and the Mama's Garden with mushrooms, onions, peppers, roasted eggplant and garlic.

"I initially came up with the pizza bowl idea while I was on a low-carb diet," Betsy Rammos-Tsichlis, owner and operator of Pantry Pizza, said in the release. "I thought it would be a great alternative for our customers to get the 'pizza' without the pizza. We created specific bowls that can be ordered from the menu; however, you can also build your own. Our Pantry Pizza Bowls provide low-carb and gluten-free alternatives to getting a regular pizza or slices."

Any of Pantry Pizza's artisan pizzas can be turned into a bowl, or customers may build their own from the brand's ingredients.

Pantry Pizza has been serving the Dorchester community for more than 15 years.
