Papa Bello's opens first international restaurant

LAS VEGAS -- Papa Bello Enterprises Inc. has announced the opening of the company's first international franchised unit in Shanghai, China.
The restaurant is owned and operated by area developers Zhiqing Ma and Hsiao (Cathy) Endy. The new location represents the first of a minimum of 60 restaurants to be constructed under the terms of the development agreement.
The restaurant offers a variety of menu items including pizza, pastas, sandwiches, baked rice dishes, steak, seafood, appetizers, specialty drinks and liquor accommodations for a full-service bar. It also features a self-serve frozen yogurt counter offering eight flavors and various toppings. A staff of approximately 65 employees operates the nearly 8,000 square-foot unit.
The restaurant also offers delivery, takeout and catering.
Construction on a second location in Shanghai is already underway with completion slated by the end of March 2009.
