Papa Gino's, D'Angelo events benefit those with disabilities

April 6, 2021

Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches are partnering with Horace Mann Educational Associates (HMEA) to launch 20 fundraisers over the next two months to raise money for HMEA's mission to help those with disabilities lead meaningful lives of their choice through support, instruction and empowerment, a news release said.

"We are so grateful for our ongoing relationship with Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches," Doug MacPherson, HMEA vice president of development, said in the release. "These fundraisers give us the opportunity to generate critical funds that help us offer a lifetime of comprehensive services in our communities. Plus, partnering with Papa Gino's and D'Angelo allows our supporters to take a night off from cooking while supporting local restaurants. Everyone wins!"

Through the Take-Out to Give-Back program supporters order from either restaurant on a specified date and time, and 20% of sales go directly to the organization when diners mention the fundraiser at checkout, or by entering coupon 19 when ordering online.

The programs also coincides with the 60th birthday for both Papa Gino's and HMEA, being celebrated with a Stroll Down Memory Lane Event.
