Dedham, Massachusetts-based Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches said their customers have collectively helped them raise $107,096 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund to fight cancer, a news release said.

The funds are generated through the two brands' annual Meal Deal and Donation Programs. Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches have a longstanding partnership with the Jimmy Fund and have raised over $1.69 million for the cause since 2010.

"We are incredibly proud of our ongoing relationship with the Jimmy Fund, an organization that shares our New England roots, and that has improved the lives of millions of children and families," Tom Sterrett, CEO of the two brands' parent company, New England Authentic Eats, in the release. "The Jimmy Fund is an organization that remains extremely important to our team members and supporters and we saw that again this year, despite the challenges faced by so many, our supporters showed their commitment to this worthy cause."

Papa Gino's and D'Angelo each offered a Jimmy Fund Meal Deal, with $2 of each purchase donated directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. In addition to the Meal Deals, all company Papa Gino's and D'Angelo locations, as well as participating franchises had an option for guests to add a donation to their online order of $1, $3, or $5 with all proceeds going to the fundraiser.

Papa Gino's has nearly 50 stores, while D'Angelo's has nearly 100 locations.
