Papa Gino's parent names people services director

The parent company of Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, New England Authentic Eats LLC, has named former youth sports company executive, David Walsh, as its people services director, a news release said.

Walsh will be responsible for the administration, coordination and management of human resources functions and will lead several internal initiatives aimed at further understanding the needs of employees and supporting them in career success.

"David has impeccable people skills and a proven track record of successful human resource management," said Tom Sterrett, CEO of New England Authentic Eats, LLC. "His fresh approach, enthusiasm and energy are great assets as we continue to focus on our people-first culture."

Walsh will work on performance management for the two brands, with a focus on giving team members opportunities for career growth by emphasizing performance metrics and clearly defined goals. He also plans to place a heavy emphasis on guest feedback, with a focus on the guest experience.

Before joining the company, Walsh held several leadership roles at a youth sports event and management company, Legacy Global Sports, as well as Global Premier Soccer.

Papa Gino's Pizzeria has nearly 100 New England locations, while D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches has more than 80 stores in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and New Hampshire and Connecticut.
