Papa John's adds Hawaiian and BBQ chicken, bacon pizzas to menu

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Papa John's has introduced two new specialty pizzas: Barbeque Chicken & Bacon and Hawaiian Barbeque Chicken.

According to a news release, from Sept. 29 through Oct. 26, large versions of the new pies will sell for an introductory price of $10.99.

Each pizza will get marketing support from a nationwide promotion, including television spots, which will air nationally Oct. 6-19, and a dedicated print campaign.

The Barbeque Chicken & Bacon pizza is topped with grilled all-white chicken breast, hickory-smoked bacon, fresh sliced onion and authentic barbeque sauce. The Hawaiian Barbeque Chicken pizza differs only in the addition of pineapple.
