Papa John's appoints new board member

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's International Inc. has appointed Joseph Jude Thompson to the company's board of directors.

Thompson has held positions with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a division of WellPoint Inc., or its affiliates since 1989. He has served as senior vice president of WellPoint and president, Individual Business, of Anthem since 2006.
