Papa Johns has partnered with Disney and Pixar to celebrate the upcoming release of "Toy Story 5," which arrives in theaters June 19, according to a press release.
The collaboration represents the first pizza-based partnership for the film franchise. The campaign includes a specialized menu and promotional elements that will roll out across 42 international markets, including cities such as Los Angeles, London, Seoul and Madrid.
"This collaboration unites two iconic brands rooted in quality, creativity and bringing people together," Jenna Bromberg, chief marketing officer at Papa Johns, said in the release. "The joy and imagination of Toy Story, combined with our commitment to great pizza is an authentic way for us to create something special — and delicious — for our fans."
The marketing campaign will be supported by a global media buy featuring a custom-animated spot produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The full advertisement is scheduled to launch June 1, though social media previews began Wednesday.
"Toy Story is one of the most globally loved franchises of all time, and pizza has a unique way of bringing people together across cultures," Chris Lyn-Sue, senior vice president and general manager of international at Papa Johns, said in the release. "In the first pizza collaboration for a Toy Story movie release, we're celebrating 'Toy Story 5' across multiple markets, making this one of our biggest international collaborations to date."
The partnership also features digital components, including an in-app game and immersive experiences in select locations.

The "Toy Story 5" pizzas will be available nationwide in the U.S. starting at $6.99 from June 1 through July 19.
