Papa John's finds young dads prefer pizza on Father's Day

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John'sfound that fathers between the ages of 18-34 prefer to eat pizza at home and receive a gift card from his family for Father's Day, which Papa John's is promoting as "Papa's Day."

 

According to a news release, 35 percent of fathers under 35 prefer eating pizza for the holiday, and an overwhelming 60 percent said that they will eat dinner at home June 18. As for a gift, the company said 57 percent of young fathers prefer gift cards.

 

In fact, more than half of all fathers indicate that they'll enjoy dinner at home this Father's Day with 54 percent of them wanting to receive a gift card rather than traditional gifts like ties.
